Heat Treating: Extreme temperatures. Extreme results.

Harden. Strengthen. Transform.

Altering the properties of metal with heating and cooling are nearly as ancient as metallurgy itself. Today, PMF combines modern technology and expertise when using any heating methods, including annealing, aging, tempering, and stress relieving. Our processes enhance the flowformed material properties and allow us to meet the specifications of our commercial and aerospace customers, such as Rolls-Royce, Pratt Whitney, Capstone, United Technologies, Hamilton Sunstrand, General Dynamics, Applied Materials, Andritz, and Aerojet.

PMF’s Nadcap-accredited heat-treating capabilities include:

  • Vertical and horizontal heat-treating capabilities
  • Temperature range between 700°F (371°C) to 2200°F (1204°C)
  • Variety of metals including, nickel based alloys, stainless steels, aluminums, brasses, and other high-strength alloys
  • Nitrogen (N) or Argon (Ar) two-bar quenching gas for full or partial pressures
