Titanium shafts manufactured using flowforming of thin and heavy-walled
sections and one-piece construction. Constructed from mill-annealed
6AL-4V. Flowforming increased the ultimate mechanical strength to
185,000 psi.

This flange in the titanium part is flowformed and machined into
the one-piece design.
Flange will be later machined to customer specifications in one
of PMF's large horizontal turning centers.
