Heat Treating

PMF does vacuum heat treating, nickel brazing, and stress relieving, as well as localized induction annealing. PMF's heat treating processes are Nadcap compliant with accreditation planned for 2011.

Heat treating capabilities include:

  • Temperature range between 700°F (371°C) to 2200°F (1204°C)
  • Variety of metals including, nickel based alloys, stainless steels, aluminums, brasses, and other high-strength alloys
  • Nitrogen (N) or Argon (Ar) quenching gas for full or partial pressures

Heat treating, annealing, aging, tempering and stress relieving can enhance the flowformed material properties and allow us to meet the specifications of our commercial and aerospace customers, such as Rolls-Royce, Pratt Whitney, Capstone, United Technologies, Hamilton Sunstrand, General Dynamics, Applied Materials, Andritz, and Aerojet.
